I'm trying to get some extra cash coming in, and of course trying to replace my DVDs (The ones I want at least) with Blu-Rays and selling the DVDs. However, I was wondering if you guys have any idea if these will be coming to Blu-Ray ever? If it's not for a while, that's fine, but I want to know if any of these just won't be being released on Blu-Ray in any country at any time:
An American Crime Autopsy Battle Royale Battle Royale 2: Requiem Candyman Series DeVour Dead Silence The Deaths of Ian Stone The Exorcist Series (Not Just The First One) Family Guy: Stewie Griffin Presents: The Untold Story Friday the 13th Franchise (The Rest of Them) Frontier(s) (With English Subtitles) The Good Girl The Gravedancers Grimm Love Halloween Franchise The Hills Have Eyes (Original) The Hitcher (Original, Sequel, Remake) House on Haunted Hill (Original and Remake) Inside JU-ON Franchise The Grudge 2 Lightning Bug One Missed Call Trilogy (Original) Penny Dreadful The Pool Ringu Franchise The Ring (Remake and Sequel) Romy and Michele's High School Reunion Shutter (Original) SCREAM Trilogy (US Release) Texas Chainsaw Massacre Franchise THEM (Ils) Tooth and Nail I hope that this is the appropriate place to put this thread. |

Dead Silence is coming to Japan in November. Halloween 6/7/8 is currently available in Canada. Scream Trilogy is expected when Scream 4 is released. |

The smaller or foreign releases that are on that list, I'm wondering if they'll EVER be put on Blu-Ray. I don't want to have to wait and see since I do need some quick cash but I don't want to sell the DVDs that won't be getting a Blu-Ray release. What would you say I'm safe to sell on that list? I want to sell all the DVD's that are going to Blu-Ray before they become worth close to nothing. Last edited by 28BlusLater; 08-27-2010 at 01:40 AM. |

I just want to be able to sell whatever DVD's are for sure going to go Blu EVENTUALLY. Companies don't seem to give a sh*t about franchises, only the first one (or first 3 for F13) in each series....
Should I just sell all my DVD's (except the foreign flicks which I'm 99% sure WON'T get a US release) and wait for Blu-Ray relases? This way I'd sell it all as a lot on eBay or something. Last edited by 28BlusLater; 08-27-2010 at 05:43 PM. |

I would think they would want to make more money by selling a box set with tons of features. I want F13 4-7 really bad but I fear it may be a while.

I think it'd be a good idea to sell the DVD's now though, before people go for the Blu-Rays, and while DVD's are worth something. If I just sit on them until all of them are released on Blu-Ray, they could be worth nothing. I have the Exorcist box set, Nightmare On Elm Street box set, Friday the 13th box set, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise all on DVD along with tons of the others ones listed above. They'd go for quite a bit. ![]() |

Nope.
I can't wait for more of these movies to hit Blu-Ray, GET TO WORK MOVIE COMPANIES!!! Especially Lionsgate, Paramount, New Line, and a couple others. Lionsgate is putting out more of their older titles, and need to just do it more often, but they're sailing. Paramount are lazy imo, they've been sitting on the F13 series....same with New Line, but with the ANOES series...maybe they'll surprise us sometime this year... |

I am anxious to see what will be released for the holliday season, but for me Halloween is my christmas and I hate going through another Halloween without my two favorites series F13 and Halloween.
