I could hear them all, however, frequencies above 18kHz appeared to be lower pitched than 18kHz, so I think the test or my headphones are borked.

Chances are this is dodgy, plus there's the whole question about the equipement you are using. If your over 10 and can her abou 20khz something is wrong.

I could only hear from 16 and down on my computer (I'm 33), but I don't exactly have high quality speakers hooked up to it so I'm not sure it's entirely accurate.

This is like the mosquito ring tones that alot of kids are supposedly using. They can use them in classrooms for text messages and alerts, etc. because the teachers can't hear frequencies as high as the teenage students can.

Could only hear up to 15 barely over the speakers.

Could hear them all with headphones.
