I think I, and probably others, rushed in thinking the SteelBook was an an exclusive pre-order offer. Once it showed up on other retail sites, the deal became pretty much a no-goer for myself.

Personally, I can't justify an extra £7 for a t-shirt (which I'm not fussed about) and an early release date.

I think the Eureka pre-order, rather perversely, is a better deal for non-UK residents (unless you want the (effectively half-price, not "free") shirt of course).

well not really interested in the DVDs but it will be a really collectable steelbook
to own so I bitten the bullet and pre-ordered it

I contacted Eureka Video about the steelbook. This is the response I got back:

Thanks for the email, unfortunately we are unable to confirm region coding at the moment, as we have not worked it out. We are still in negotiation with other licensers.

The case will be Blu-ray sized and will be painted not stickered.

Hopefully it's not region-locked
