Default What kind of TV do you have?

I was looking at some 1080p sets over the past few weeks. The motion on them is spectacular compared to my TV, but since they were all LCDs, the colors and depth still did not look as good as my 42" 720p Pioneer Elite Purevision. I feel like i am wasting my Blu-rays w/o a 1080p set.

So I am wondering how many people here have 720p sets vs. 1080p sets. Does anyone else with a 720p set feel that their blus are being wasted?

I voted other with a Sony SXRD. BluRay looks awesome, some minor nitpicks with Sat HD.

Right now, I have no TV, because the bulb on my Mits DLP just blew really unexpectedly tonight and I'm without a replacement on hand.

1080p Samsung DLP, 720p Samsung LCD.

Still lacking a BD player on that second one though, something needs to be done

65in 1080p DLP. I love it, but it is too small.

I have a 61" DLP 1080p samsung which I love to death, so I voted for 'projection', but shouldn't there be a 1080p and 720p projection option?

I own the 42in. Westinghouse 1080Pure LCD. The movies on both blu-ray and standard look great. The price was also a bonus.

Since you have the best made TV around anything short of another Pioneer Plasma will be a let down.
