Question on Band of Brothers - Blu-ray Forum

I am considering showing the blu-ray edition to an audience of diverse ages. I have only seen the show on the History Channel when it might have been edited. As its a war series, I expect there to be violence, but what is the content as far as language goes?

It's not Tarrantino-esque but there is some graphic language.

There is language some age groups might object to, however from the overall focal point of the series if they have complaints about language they aren't paying attention to the greatest depiction of war ever captured on film and are being distracted by something that should be non issue. The language was definitely a lot tamer than what you would hear around soldiers now that's for sure.

I can't fathom anyone who isn't put off by the stark and realistic violence taking issue with the language. It's appropriate for the grim portrayal you are watching, and like the violence, contextually appropriate and never gratuitous.

We watched Saving Private Ryan and The Godfather in my Sophomore class in high school 8 years ago.
