Default Problems Playing Bonus Features

Last night I watched trick r treat for the first time. The movie and menus all played perfectly fine. Then I went to watch a documentary in the bonus feature section, and the picture size shrunk to about 1/12 of the screen size. I had never seen it before so I assumed that it was meant to be like that.

I then watched Childs play. once again the movie and menus all worked fine, but again the bonus feature shrunk. I had seen it before so I knew it wasn't supposed to do that. I tested it again with cujo with the same results

I have no clue why this is happening. I have a ps3 and have never heard of this occurring before. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you should make sure that your PS3 is upscaling SD content to fit your TV. If they're in SD, they may look that small if they're not upconverted.

You go to 'Settings', then choose 'Video Settings', and then the option BD/DVD Upscaler, which in my case is set to 'Full Screen'. If that's already the case, then I really don't know what could be wrong, but maybe you should try all the settings, and check out which one works for you.

FYI: The PS3 BD/DVD upscale setting is only for DVDs and downloaded SD/HD videos. For some reason, Sony still has it listed for BDs even though it won't do anything.

SD content on a Blu-ray Disc will still display at 480i/p SD regardless of the fact that the upscaler is on.
