In need of Rock Band! - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone still seeing the bundle around?! I searched all day and couldn't find one available. I really don't want to hit ebay and pay a ton of money.

amazon.com says shipping in 3-5 weeks, but i really dont want to wait that long!

They have a ton in my area...mostly the 360 version. I had a PS3 version over the weekend but my guitar broke, my drums didn't work properly and the mic has a terrible delay in audio that no one on the Rock Band boards has figured out yet. I returned my set and I'm going to wait until a fully working batch of new Rock Band gear comes out.

So far I think your best bet is Wal-mart. I've seen them at 3 different WMs within the last week. I saw one last night even and the other 2 were on Saturday night and on Friday night. Just call around. Oh and if you haven't checked Ebay isn't all that bad right now...there was a huge flood that hit when there was a demand, but it seems to have slowed. Prices are anywhere from retail to $240.

I've seen them this past weekend at Walmart (they had 5 Xbox 360), Circuit City (they had 2 Xbox 360), Target (they had one Xbox 360), and Best Buy (they had one Xbox 360 and one PS3)

My recomendation is to just give GameStop, Wal-mart, or whomever is close a call every night and see if they have it in stock. Doesn't take more than a minute to place such a phone call, and then ya don't go running to a store hopelessly searching. Seems like a bunch of work, but you can probably find one in stock within a week.

I'm in the same boat here... Doing some Christmas shopping over the weekend I stopped in four stores (Gamestop x2, Wal-mart, K-mart) to get a PS3 bundle for myself, but three of 'em had only 360 bundles and the fourth had sold out of both. =(

I was lucky enough to get one the day it came out (went to best buy when they opened) but a week before it came out, I was talking to one of the guys at the local GameStop, and he was telling me they were not even getting in any PS3 versions because there was no demand.

I couldn't understand it, but then when I went to Best Buy, there were 30 360 versions and 10 PS3 versions....

Also, Guitar is being replaced on mine, won't stay connected. Drums and Mic work great though.

Got mine at Kmart on release day...using that wonderful 20% off coupon!!

I still haven't opened it yet, since it is a gift for my kids for Christmas. But, all of these complaints make me want to check that it will work...

(wonder if the wife will fall for that one)

I found one! Although it was for 360, I got lucky and someone didn't pick up there preorder, so I got it

I didn't feel like searching the city, it was the second store I called and it's literally around the block from my house.

The drums are insanely tiring, but I love the hell out of them. sooo much better than guitar. I haven't tried the new guitar yet, I think I'm going to in a few

I was in your same boat...

I had no plans on buying this game because I felt like I had pretty much exhausted myself of these types of games...

I had beaten Guitar Hero 2 on expert and Guitar Hero 3 on expert and felt pretty much burned out on these kind of games...

I went over to a friends house last weekend and he had purchased it and the four of us had a really fun time playing the game together...

The next day I went everywhere looking for a copy of the PS3 bundle and EVERYWHERE was sold out of it...

What I did was go to walmart.com and type it in, and you can search local store inventory...

It gives you a list of every walmart within like 50 miles or something.

In my area every walmart was sold out of it except for one SuperWalmart like 20 miles from me. I called them, and they had one left. Luckily the guy held it for me until I got there....

Its a great game. The Drums are awesome and it is a huge amount of fun to play....

Try walmart.com...

Just find the item on walmart.com and use the "Find In Store" tab to check the stores near you. If it says instock, call that store, ask them to hold it for you and then head out there and buy it.

none of the walmarts in my area had any. that was my first bet, i was really lucky to get the one i did. although im bummed i cant play with anyone from the board!

ah yes, the game I had pre-ordered forever. The guitar freaking sucks. Why? Because my strum bar doesn't click, it seems like you have to force everytime you strum. I know I can destroy it on expert, just like GH3. I just wish they would patch it, so that I can use my SG. Since I play the drums in real life, I just stick to those, until I get a patch for the guitar.

The non-click strum bar is great, so much smoother

I feel you on the strum bar. I'm not a huge fan of it at all. Although I like the size and feel of the guitar
