So I opened both of them. They both have scratches on the back, and a ding as well. Damn

Oh well.. not going to stress over it like I have in the past. I'll keep one open, and I'll reseal the other one for display.

I just wish they would better package these collectors items prior to selling them.

I'm just annoyed that one of the sellers is a scalper in my area. He must have went to my local BB after I did as they had all 10 copies out yesterday. The scalper has at least 4 listed on there as of last night.

Why not report every listing that says steelbook, because they are not. Its keyword spamming on ebay

BB in my area (Grand Rapids, MI) had about a dozen out today. Another BB across town had theirs out earlier this past week and I bought two then. They didn't have any today. I think its gonna be very hit or miss as to what locations have them and don't.

Do these always go on sale about a month before release day? Is it safe to expect being able to pick up a Fantasia ironpack around Halloween time?

AFAIK there isn't one for Fantasia.

Whoa whoa... spamming?! Not at all. I bought two copies, one for me and one for another collector, whom already has received the steelbook.

I absolutely do not horde/sell these. Considering it now though based on comments here and seeing how much Up and Snow White steels sell for. Or maybe to trade in the future.

Sigh. I called 3 BB in the Omaha/surrounding areas and no one knew what I was talking about. One sweet lady told me they would have them on Tuesday. I couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone in Lincoln.

It's very frustrating when BB's ad says they should be available today and they aren't. Hopefully there are some available on Tuesday when I am up in the area.

Small scratch behind the cover as well.. Oh well.. As long as I have one.

I picked two up and didn't notice anything in the store. I just checked them out under a light and noticed a tiny little speck of paint missing on the bottom corner of the spine, both in the same spot. I'll go to a different BB tomorrow (if they're open), to see if I can swap them out.

I would say so. I went through every copy at the Best Buy near me and all had defects. I go the one with the least amount. It's got a slight chip on the spine and that's about it. I did notice that on almost every spine, Beauty and the Beast was in a different place. Most of them had the top of the B Beauty curled over the edge. It's still a really nice case though.

There are slight defects in the paint yes but otherwise mine is in excellent condition, I actually think as long as it's durable, I'll end up liking IronPacks more than steelbooks.

Please tell me Best Buy stores are open tomorrow on labor day?. i was'nt able to get in today like i had planned earlier this week. and hearing all these stories about the scalpers and hardly any copies being left isn't making me feel any better about my chances of getting mine

I was told the tuesday thing too. I hope its true. I had checked my store most of the week and didnt see it out early, so maybe its the case.
