Considering there are more movies coming, the steelbook seems pointless

Is there not going to be a 4th film though? You'd be as well waiting for the inevitable 4 disc set.

And a 5th, they're cutting Breaking Dawn into two films. A complete box set is indeed inevitable, it is a bit odd that a steelbook has been made for the series at this stage. Depending on the quality of Breaking Dawn, I'm holding out for the complete set.

The thing I hate with the UK Twilight releases is that the 2-Disc DVD gets a variation of the theatrical poster artwork and the Blu-ray gets some crappy photoshop job.

They always put out box sets for incomplete movies. There was a Harry Potter 1-3, 1-4, 1-5, and 1-6. There was a Toy Story 1-2 box recently.

To be fair, the steelbook does say 'The Story So Far' on it, so I guess it makes sense

But hey, I don't care because I will be avoiding this shit like the plague.

Ah, sod it. I've pre-ordered it. 3 films for £9.33 each, including a new release on the first day, I'm sold. Don't really think I want to wait until 2013 for a complete movie set and potentially find out that there isn't a Steelbook that time around.

Best in the series so far, probably get it if it gets to around £12 though.

I recently got Twilight and New Moon for £8 each on Lovefilm's shop (brand new, still sealed, not from the ex-rental section). They have Eclipse for £15, and also have a list of codes on the main page for money off, including £3 off when you spend £10... very tempted to use it for Eclipse, as I can't see any £10 blu rays I'd want on there.

I was planning on importing all 3 movies but I couldn't find any good ones of the first two and I just can't be bothered so I bought the first two from HMV today. Shall be getting the 3rd very soon!

What is with this release that really seems off is that the first 2 movies bluray and even the DVD was packed with special features

With Eclipse there is nothing. This is really weird that they slowed down on the bonus content just like that. Anyone know why Eclipse has so little bonus content compared to twilight and new moon

If anyone gets any news as to the region coding for the steelbook set, please post it. Don't really like the movies, but am a big fan of the books.

Had both the steelbook (which no longer seems to be on offer), and the single release (which is a gift for my niece), dispatched today. I thought for a moment they might be sending stuff out early because of the snow, but none of my other pre-orders were dispatched.
