Default Can't run PowerDVD when running Dual Screen (Clone mode)

The PowerDVD won't run with dual screen plasmas. The plasmas are set to run as clone mode and have no problems running any MPEG2, MPEG4, .TS, VC-1 type 1080i video files and 3D PC games. But when I try to run PowerDVD BD 6.6 it gives me an error message says:

"Incompatible graphics driver.
Please make sure your graphics driver meets minimum requirement criteria. (Error Code = 0122)
Please run the BD/HD DVD Advisor tool for more information.
"

Well, I updated it to the lastest ATi driver and I still get the same problem. However it will let me run if I disable the clone mode and just run one plasma at a time. The 7UY is using SVGA cable and it works fine. The 9UK is on a DVI-D and it works fine, but I can't run blu-ray movie when both screens are set to run as clone mode. Does anybody have solution to this.. Am I missing something. pls help.

my video card: ATi X1950XTX
Processor: Intel Conroe E6600@ 3.5 Ghz
TV 1: Panny TH50PH9UK using DVI-D
TV 2: Panny TH50PHD7UY using SVGA

PowerDVD BD version 6.6 software

while i don't know for certain, i would suspect that at least the fact you have one hooked up by svga is at least one reason.

theknub, thanks for the response. I too was sort of thinking about that might be affecting it.. I can go buy another DVI-D blade and cable so I can hook it up to my 7UY too. I hope that'll work..

any other tips or ideas welcome. thankx...

If the plasmas are not HDCP compatible, then you will have that problem , the vga works fine, but whenyou hook up DVI it messes up the whole works, it basically shuts down everthing on the video card for playing blu ray, even the VGA.

EKIM, it only happens when I try to run it on both Plasmas as a dual screen. If I run it each screen a time then it works fine, and it is a DVI-D connection. Works perfectly in either 7UY or 9UK. I just tried it on the 7UY. So are you saying even though it works fine using DVI-D on either displays, one of my displays is not HDCP compatible?

Try this, run both in VGA mode (VGA connectors) and see what happens, your card has dual GPU's?

Yea EKIM, my card has dual video outs, dual link DVI.

I already sold my 9UK TV so now I'm back to my beloved 7UY. Thanks for trying to help me though. I appreciate it.

btw, even when I'm just connected to one plasma and if I turn the TV off, the PowerDVD BD software stops and throws out an error in about 5 seconds later. Funny.. eheh

Anyways, I'm now running DVI-D on my 7UY and enjoy watching Blu-Ray movies. I'm a happy camper.
