Default Unleashed - Sept. 14th

Unleashed Blu-ray

Unleashed Blu-ray Review

For those of you who have been waiting for this movie like I have to be finally released in the US via Universal Studios, the wait is finally over! It's available now on Amazon and I just purchased a copy for myself.

$20.49 is a bit much, will wait for it to drop to $10 or $15 before I pull the trigger even though I love this movie.

finally, this film is one of my guilty pleasures. Depending on region coding will have to import this .

This really is a solid film. It's a character story more than anything. But yes, if it's $10-15, then it will be at a reasonable price.

Agreed, own this movie on DVD and will definitely upgrade to Blu-ray at some point, but nt for $20.49.

This movie shouldn't be a "guilty pleasure" since it's a legitimately good movie. You don't have to feel guilty about liking it. Grabbed my copy at Target today.

Could you answer me this. Does the cover have Universal Studio's usal "silver swoosh" on the bottom that says something like The Perfect High Def. Experience?

Or is the cover exactly like pictured above?

I know the japanese edition is awesome and french isn´t bad. Hopefully this have real good PQ and AQ and since universals smaller titles usually drop in price pretty quick.

Hopefully we get a review soon, strange no one done it already since many get discs early.

It's what's pictured above, without the standard Universal template. I didn't notice that...interesting.

Grabbed one from Target earlier today for $20. Nice to see Universal has done away with the "High Definition Experience" label.

I've always hated that, will have to go by Target soon myself to see if they have Danny the Dog. Won't get it yet but would be nice if they have it, imagine it's one of those that will be on sale soon.

I think this movie incorporates a lot of raw emotion that is lacking in a lot of other films and that's why I like it so much.

This is one of those movies that I like a lot but am not willing to really spend more than $10 bucks on it. If I can find it used somewhere for close to that I might pick it up.

Thats cool! I have actually grown a custom to the Universal template. But its cool to see films finally dropping all "High Def" gimmicks and finally going towards being a stable in movies!

Movie - B+ Good movie. Probly the best Hollywood film featuring Jet although I did like Forbidden Kingdom a lot too.

Video - A Great looking transfer. faithfully reproduces the gritty dirty tone of the film.

Audio - A+ this track will kick your ass.

Extras - C Weak. Same shit from the DVD.

Overall - B+ A worthy upgrade!
