Halloween (Original) vs. Halloween (Remake) - Blu-ray Forum

I am gonna start an original vs remake contest to see what people really feel. There is a good discussion goin on about this with the Amityville movies and that gave me the idea. Anyhoo Ill start it off with the Halloween films. Which one do u prefer or think is better and why? Got Em!!

CZAR you know I really dig Zombie's remake but the Original is WAY better in every single aspect.

Yea I know some peoples take on it but I wanted to what the majority would say. Im sure this will be a landslide but there are others I will get to that should be more interesting. Got Em!!

The original...the classic. It's the greatest horror film of all time if you ask me.

I think the remake vs. original poll will get interesting when you do Last House on the Left. I've never seen the original, but I loved the remake.

i liked the original LHOTL better but the remake was really good too... until the very end

33 people have their head screwed on straight.

3 people have horrible taste in movies and should lay off the sauce.

2 people are half right, but should still lay off the sauce.

Halloween the Original without any question! They can take the Rob Zombie re-makes and burn them as far as I am concerned.

i agree.... burn em! burn a million copies so more people can see it!!! and distribute for free....

John Carpenter accomplished what Rob Zombie couldn't for the amount Rob Zombie paid for catering.

I'd rather eat the pizza and beer and talk to Rob at the catering than be forced to watch Halloween original again.

While I enjoyed the remake for the most part, it doesn't hold a candle to the original Halloween. The original is a masterpiece of horror filmmaking.
