Default Which one to get?

On Saturday I'm going to BB and I'm considering getting one of these 2, LOTR Trilogy or Dexter Seasons 1-4 opinions please!

Hmm, I prefer the LOTR trilogy, but they're both great choices.

Dexter all the way it's one of the best shows on TV right now and with season 5 starting next week it would be good to re watch the 1st 4 or just 4 to get ready.

I've never watched Dexter, but I voted for it anyway. The reason is I don't feel it's worth it to buy LOTR until they release the extended versions on blu-ray. Save yourself the expense of double dipping.

I'd actually wait for LoTR extended editions - assuming they're in the works. But if you only like the theatrical versions then I'd get those if I were you.

I went with Dexter, even thou I have never seen an episode, eventually you will want to double dip when the extended editions do come out.

With me never seen Dexter b4 and with all the high praise I've read about it, it's tempting.

On the other hand, the same can be said for the LOTR Trilogy. (being popular I mean)

I would get Dexter now so you won't have to double dip on LOTR extended versions down the road.

I'd go for Dexter and wait for the inevitable re-release of LotR with the extended editions. You may even get a cool Gollum statue or replica ring with the set.

You can't go wrong either way, but Dexter would be the easy choice if you want the extended cut of LOTR...unless you prefer the theatrical cuts.

Dex all the way! (Especially since the current released LotR trilogy is the theatrical version.)

even though the LOTR trilogy is about 6 million hours long, Dexter gives you more bang for your buck. unless you absolutely LOVE LOTR (which then you'd probably alread own it) to me, it feels like all 3 films are the same. Dexter has a lot of different things go on over the course of 4 seasons so if you want a little variety, i'd go with Dexter, but that's just me.

Dexter, because it's as good as it's ever going to get, while the LOTR trilogy will be practically worthless once the extended editions are out.

I'm going with Dexter just because there is a lot more view time.

What more do you want from a show about a killer? I'm guessing you didn't see the finale or if you did why did you continue watching season after season if it's the "same thing every season" obviously you have a problem with it

Rent Dexter through Netflix and hold off on LOTR until the EEs are released. That way you save even more money.
