The Office Season 6 Disc 1 Problems - Blu-ray Forum

So I booted up the first disc and periodically through the episodes the video will freeze up while the audio keeps going. Anyone else have this trouble? I would hate to think that I ruined the disc while trying to figure out how to get the damn thing out of the packaging.

I had the exact same problem. I was about to go return the disc. What player are you using?

I've read about the same problem on other forums. Haven't heard of any fix yet. Most have exchanged their discs.

I just read on a review on BestBuy.com about the same thing. I have a PS3 also so I guess maybe I should wait to buy until they fix it

I loaded up my disc 1 and tried to watch the Niagara Falls episode. It freezes when Jim, Pam, and Michael are in the parking lot and then skips to a later part of the episode.

I have a fat 80 GB PS3 and updated to 3.42 version of the system and tried that. Still skips. Turning off the BD Live doesn't help either.

I had this same problem and sent my discs back for replacement, but I had the same problem. I've got a Sony BDP-S350. I've managed to get some of the episodes on the first disc to play through, but most of them will freeze up.

I'll have to test mine out tonight. I just got it a day or two ago (ordered from Amazon) and I haven't watched it yet. I have 2 PS3s, so I will try it on both.

Has anyone had problems with the other discs in the set?

The first time I loaded it on my Panny it froze during the load sequence. Haven't had an issue since.

I played a little bit of the first and second episodes and they both worked fine. I played Niagara, the part where Pam, Jim and Michael are in the parking lot as someone mentioned before and it was also fine.

Seems like it's 50/50. I also have a PS3 and I've had issues before that were just because of the internet, turned it off and was fine. Hopefully everyone gets their problems fixed.

Mine was on and it still worked, so I'm not sure what it could be honestly.

After exchanging my office season 6 blu ray, I had the same problem with the freezing disc. I found this forum and started to play around with the settings on my ps3. Here is what I found to work. In the ps3 menu, 1.Video Settings
2.BD internet connection. 3. Change to "Confirm" 4. When option comes up after putting in disc for allow bd live, choose "no". 5. Enjoy the office season 6 disc 1 without all the annoying freezing.
This worked for me, hope it works for the rest of you.
