Typical, it's getting a complimentary DVD that I can frisbee to my niece and keep the blu-ray for myself. Come on Fox, slicover! What the hey, it says DVD video on the spine.

Just noticed that I really hope it isn't on the final product.

That's weird as all the theaters around where I live have just recently either stopped showing it or took it down to 1 showing and some of the theaters are pretty big theaters that get all new releases and show 2D and 3D at the same time.

The theatre I'm at has 16 auditoriums but if the movie ain't selling it goes bye-bye. Makes more room for a movie that's selling more.

Yeah I get that so it must have done bad at that theater then but otherwise I think it did good at the BO with making $25 million on a $15 million budget and most likely going to make more on home video.

It was gone from here in like 5 weeks, I may go see it if it goes to the cheap place but I can probably hold on for November 9, I've waited this long.

Well the theatre is in a college town so that might have something to do with it.

Yeah that's probably it as the theater I go to is in my town with just family neighborhoods no big colleges around or anything.

It's not really the kind of movie guys our age go see by ourselves, I couldn't get any of my sisters to go with me and none of my friends like Selena. It'll be fine, I can wait, this movie should be worth it.

I just pre-ordered. I absolutely love this movie! It's just a shame that it didn't do well at the box office. I thought it was really cute. I'm not worried about the $27.99 price. I just know Amazon will have it lower by the time its actually released.

I never got to see this in theaters so I will be picking up this movie when its released as I do like Selena Gomez. Is it to much to ask for Disney to release Wizards of Waverly Place on blu-ray?

Yes it probably is, the movie didn't get a blu-ray release and they haven't even released the show in seasons yet in the US. I loved the Beverly Cleary novels as a child, hope this does them justice.

I thought it did good at the BO with them making $10 million over the budget for a not so well known childrens movie. But I could be wrong as I don't really understand how much money has to be made or whatever for a movie to do good. I think it did good enough for a sequel or straight to video movie. Also will make much more on home video.

2.4XBo = profit made so hopefully it gets a nice boost from DVD/blu-ray sales, especially since this is coming out near Christmas.

I think it will as most people seem to wait till home video to see a movie and will be buying these for there kids and with us buying Blu-ray will also contribute more money then DVD's.

Yeah, I definately see this one selling well on home video and the fact that Selena Gomez is in it will make people wanna buy it. I'm glad Fox didn't skimp on the bonus features either. lol I know there aren't a whole lot of bonus features, but it looks like enough to keep me satisfied. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing A Day in the Life of Joey King and the audition footage of both Selena and Joey. The gag reel should be pretty funny too.
