The prices are extortionate though - most of them currently have 2-disc releases which are cheaper!

No matter how much it is, if the Watchmen release has Maximum Movie Mode, it's mine.

Well I hope this doesn't mean that the 2 Disc editions are going OOP in favour of these. If it does, then I'd better get Watchmen ASAP (I don't care about Transformers and I have the other two).

They all seem to be simple single-disc editions - I would have thought the prices would be much cheaper for 1 disc!!

+1. They should be alot cheaper. I already own all of these titles, so I will not by buying any of these. I think this is just pointless . Until we get certain confirmation, as to what these are exactly, I will be staying away from these .

Thought I'd let people know that Star Trek has just gone on sale for £9.99 on amazon. Don't think it's ever had money off since release!

Star Trek has gone back up to £17.99, pity, I was going to place an order today including that as I'm waiting until it does go down in price. £9.99 a price error maybe?

I think Amazon price-matched Play's 1 day only offer.

I think it was a 24-hour only price drop or something? I noticed that Watchmen, Transformers 2 and Star Trek were all £12 in my local Tesco which isn't too bad actually...

Damn... I've had Star Trek on my Amazon wishlist for 9 months now waiting for it to drop below £18. How did I miss it being £10 on two websites for a day? I feel like crying!

Why would you sell the superior 3-disc edition steelbook for a 1-disc amaray?

The thing that bugs me with Paramount releases is that they have amazing films but when they release them they always mess up the packaging by including that back plate separately with the extras on - Transformers and Star Trek are perfect examples of this. Transformers 2 however, had the nice slipcover with all the details on it and the inner case was just nice and simple... Rant over :P

It isnt the one disc amaray on tesco, comes with digital copy as well

I bought the steelbook when it came out, but money is tight at the moment, so the replacement makes sense to me in this case
