Default Tora! Tora! Tora!

Does anyone know when this will be released in the U.S, I know it has been in Germany. Thank you.

Tora! Tora! Tora! was one of my father's favorite movies. It has been a while since Fox released its war time classics including The Longest Day, The Sand Pebbles, Battle of Britain, A Bridge Too Far, Patton and The Battle of the Bulge. At the time Tora! Tora! Tora! seemed the odd man out. I'd be in there to purchase it first week without a doubt. If it was released in Germany then there's hope a US Region 1 blu-ray release is in the pipeline. Hopefully sooner rather than later before Fox loses interest altogether.

I have those you mentionned except Battle of Britain, which I have seen.....there is also MacArthur with Gregory Peck, which I like.

Unfortunately not. Tora! Tora! Tora! would be a very good Blu-Ray for region 1, too.

It's still the best film on Pearl Harbor ever made.

It was also released over here in Belgium since 2009.
I didn't even know we had some BR releases before the USA.

Makes you wonder if Tora! Tora! Tora! has been held back for a special release or further restoration for Region 1, doesn't it???

Perhaps, but the region B version already looks pretty good, and has substantial extras.
