No, each disc comes with their own 'bonus' episode. They are the same 'bonus' episodes included on the standalone releases, it is just a selling point for those who don't have the standalone releases and they see more value in '6' episodes rather than just the highlighted '3'.

Awesome, thanks. I'll just go ahead and order the Christmas one now instead of returning the two I got today.

Anyone know if A Charlie Brown Christmas is still shipping with slipcover from amazon?

I've noticed the Peanuts collection in more stores around there than I thought I'd see it now. Now I just have trouble deciding which place to pick it up from.

That deal is over I assume? I was surprised that Target, BB, or no other store had any deals going on this.

Well, got my Peanuts collection from WBshop! Arrived in A1 perfect condition, nice embossed collector's case too! There was even a manf. coupon for 50 cents off Super Pretzels inside (cool, my store doubles coupons up to 99 cents, so 1.00 off for me, every litlle bit helps ya know!)

Just curious... when arranging these on your shelves do you put it under "C" for Charlie Brown, "P" for Peanuts, or do you have a separate holiday section?

Separate Holiday section. In that section, "C".

Maybe i'm the only person that does this but I refuse to own any of the Peanuts or holiday specials because for me they are more nostalgic watching them when they come on t.v. each year.

That's cool for you. I don't have a work schedule that will necessarily allow me to have those days off. Owning them I get the chance to play them when I choose, and that will most likely be while I'm decorating.

It's not nostaligic unless the only commercials are for McDonalds and York Peppermint Patties (I remember thos commercials almost as well as I remember the program). But remember when they're shown on TV now, they cut them to fit more commercials...

NICE! Good to know. I would imagine it will have a slip cover like the previous Peanuts Blus

I was seriously about to order this from Amazon.ca this weekend since the BD was only supposed to be released in Canada. Thanks for posting this good news!
