On another note allot of the yashraj sleeves dont have a consistency in colour on there sleeves we have had so many batches with different colour tones anybody come across this especaily any distributors of yrf products worldwide ..

we hjve had 4 different batches of veer zaara with 4 different colour tones

Thanks for confirmation BBR. This is good news. But most important for me is one question, (the positive answer to which can make this a 'breaking news' lol) :

Can u confirm if there are Any signs of improvement on original goof-ups like black levels of Veer Zaara/Fanaa on the re-releases? Otherwse what is the point in separting the 2nd DVD ?

Can u also check if this song is there/removed from the main Movie disc? FYI- This song is not supposed to be there in the theatrical cut but as per the initial batch copy that I own, Yashraj has wrongly edited back the song into the main feature wherever they thought it fit in parts. If this song is removed from the original film, I will be happy. comon yashraj, atleast change something for the better when u re-release!!

PS: Many may wonder why I am upset about the song added back into the film. Nothing wrong in the same if it was added back fully. But Yashraj didnt. They missed out on putting back the first stanza of the song that starts from 'Wo Dekho Zara...". Now that - is a crime from my POV. when u edit back, atleast put all of the song that is visible on the second disc as a independent item.

they hav done it purposely , theyve even added a different version of "tere haath mein" song video in fanna bd , its awefull and in the special features they hav put the same vid , (deleted song) when they should havc pu the other one present in the theatrical cut !!!!

Whoa!! Fanaa Also!!!! Sh**t thats horrible!! What kind of atrocity is that? I have seen that song on the dvd edition and u r right it looks awful. I thank my luck I never bought fanaa because of black level issues discusssed here and on zulm. Now i am coming to know about this second atrocity. This is even worse crime than VZ in which atleast whereever u edit-in, that song is watchable. How can someone possibly watch that fatso looking Aamir in that deleted version of mere haath mein???

Please someone confirm if yashraj realised their mistakes in re-releases ?

and plus the original version had gr8 visuals with the red leaves and the bridge blueish night ! it was lovely !!!! though i suggest u 2 the the bd as the movie is fantastic !!!!

But u said the original version of teh song is not on the BD. Then why shd I get the bd? if all u are saying is that because of the overall movie I shd buy, then note that I have the Fanaa DVD which IMO is the reference quality (almost HD) Yashraj DVD yet. Hence any flaw on BD makes me stick even more with my DVD.
