Default Petition?

Do you guys think if we started a petition to get Batman Begins on Blu-Ray and sent it to Warner they would actually look at it? Or would it not do any good

I don't think it will do any good.
They already said they will release it to Blu-ray, they are probably just waiting for the new profiles and such.

Why don't we put all 16 000+ members name on a sheet of paper then send it to Warner and say we all want and would buy Batman.

Probably not, but it never hurts to try. If you want to put the effort into it, I'll sign for you.

It's been said ad infinitum, but we'll get it eventually. We'll either see it when Warner starts rolling out pip titles in 1Q or 2Q 2008 or when the sequel comes out (hopefully the former and not the latter).

I didn't know fanboys still threw the P-word around to fantasize about getting what they wanted--
Thought "Class action suit" was the new trendy term of craze, now.

They should give us Batman Begins just for being able to fit 16000 names on a sheet of paper.

Also, remember that a piece of paper has 6 sides!

I think you are probably right about the latter. Releasing it on BD just ahead of the premiere of the sequel would be a good way to generate even more publicity, not that I'm happy about the delay.

Here's the petition. If nothing else it will at least show Warner how much interest is in Blu-Ray around these parts.

That sounds about right just from a strategic stand point - they'll want to tie the release in with the release of The Dark Knight.

Signed. Probably won't do much good since they are most likely committed to HD-DVD on some exclusive films via contract.

Sorry, I have not seen anything like this be successful. A petition would do nothing. As other's have stated, the studio know we want this. The preview of Batman Begins is on the Blu Ray Demo Disk that runs on the end cap at Best Buy.

When they are ready to release this, it will happen.

No I don't think a petition will do any good.

Why isn't June a possibility?
