Default The Walking Dead on AMC

I couldn't find a thread for this one so here goes. I've been seeing previews for a new zombie show debuting on AMC on Halloween called The Walking Dead. It looks pretty interesting to me. Is anyone else here looking forward to this?

There already is a thread for this series but I'm looking forward to it.

Well apparently my search skills are lacking since I didn't manage to find that thread. Oh well. Thanks for the link.

Yes I am.

While I don't want my Zombie genre watered down like Vampires have now become, I see the make up for this AMC special and think it may be a hoot.

Lets ensure activity here the 31st to watch it!

That was what really caught my eye in the previews was how well the zombies appeared to be made up.

I'll definitely be watching when it premiers.

Nice review.

I enjoyed all three of the original Dead movies, but I must admit I haven't even seen the newer versions.

This thread should be merged with the existing.

Anyways, I already gave my thoughts on the pilot episode, and I assure you it isn't watered down. It's violent, bloody, gory and entrails being chewed.
