Default Power conditioner questions/suggestions.

So i have a nice shiney UPS for my Computer setup (cost as much as my HT lolz) but im thinking i should invest in some protection for my HT. Dont thing a UPS is really practical so it seems a power conditioner is in order.

What are somet things i have to look for when buying one? (for example with my UPS i had to make sure it had enough wattage to run all my components)

i saw in another recent thread about these a term called "power sequencing" what does that mean?

As far as the components Its whats in my sig below + my Xbox 360 and my WD streaming device.

Also it seems most would suggest that i dont put my reciever on the power conditioner, or is that incorrect? and what about the sub?

This a good one? http://www.amazon.com/APC-H15BLK-1-5...8914756&sr=1-1

thats about the price id want to spend

Surge rating, the APC H15 is 5200 Joules.
Rated Watt Capacity (continuous), the APC H15 is 1440 Watts.
Automatic Voltage Regulation, the APC H15 has this feature.

"Sequential outlet turn-on — First sends power to your playback components, like a tuner or DVD player, and then to your receiver or amplifier after a brief delay. This eliminates the infamous amplifier turn-on "thump," which can damage your speakers."

It's safe to put them on. Just make sure you use the special "HIGH CURRENT" outlets( the APC H15 has two ).

Yes, it'll work for your needs.

Wow, thanks for taking the time for that reply! How imporant is that sequential turn on feature, that APC unit does not have it correct?

The APC H15 does include this feature.

from: http://www.apcc.com/products/apcav/p...K&tab=features

under the Manageability section

Sequenced turn on/off
Helps power on components in the proper order to prevent speaker stress. Proper sequencing can also help manage current draw on startup to prevent unnecessary circuit breaker tripping.
