The Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Film in 3D Question - Blu-ray Forum

According to the cover art, it says clearly, "Only Plays in 3D" I'm wondering if this is just a marketing thing or if this Blu-ray truly wouldn't play without a 3D setup. If it would play, would it look bad? I need more soccer Blu-rays and I'm interested in this but I have no interest in 3D whatsoever.
