My speakers are buzzing only when I turn on the PS3-help!

This just started a week ago. Watching cable tv there is no buzzing or humming. When I switch it over the PS3, all 5 speakers start buzzing.
My setup:
Sammy LCD
Onkyo 606 PS3 fat 40 gig
5 polk speakers all around/no subwoofer
All plugged into a monster surger protector

The buzzing only happens when the PS3 is on and "pcm multichannel hdmi" is showing on the receiver. I feel like I've unplugged and tried everything. It's something with the PS3 being on and the Onkyo displaying "pcm multichannel hdmi". Please help me get my home theatre experience back to normal!!!

Try a HumX, it sounds like there is the typical ground loop issue. whether its the PS3 or the receiver, test it on both of them to see which has the issue.
