Default Transformers Prime premieres 11/26

Transformers Prime is a new animated (CG) series that will appear on The Hub (formerly Discovery Kids). Peter Cullen reprises his role as Optimus Prime

There will be a preview on Friday 11/26 of the first 2 episodes at 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. They will repeat at 6:00-7:00 and 12:00-1:00 and in their normal 6:30 PM time slots 11/29 for the first episode and 11/30 for the second episode.

It starts as a 5 Part mini-series from 11/29 to 12/3 at 6:30 PM. It is a 30 minute show. The series returns in February.

The shows discription from The Hubs website http://www.hubworld.com/transformers/shows/prime

Quote:
Roll out with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, and the rest of the heroic Autobots as they battle the evil Decepticons. Now that big bad Megatron has returned with a mysterious and dangerous element, Team Prime must prepare for an epic battle. But that's not so easy when they have to guard over Jack, Miko, and Raf -- three normal kids who’ve accidentally discovered the Autobots. As Team Prime works to defend Earth from destruction, the drama gets just as intense as the heavy metal action.
So far there is not much information on this series.
From http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers:_Prime_(cartoon)
The first season will be 26 episodes and with 3 more seasons outlined by screenwriters.

Trailer can be seen here: http://www.hubworld.com/transformers...eos/sneak-peek

Will update later when I can find its normal day and time slot, its looking like Fridays. The series returns in February.

This really makes me with the Hub was one of the DirecTV channels I get, I miss having a good Transformers show on a regular basis.

I have the Hub with DirectTV and I don't think it's part of any special package not sure why you wouldn't have it. Unless it is part of a package.

Ah it is there, it must be one of the many channels I scrolled through and deleted before, added it back now, will try it out when it premieres for sure, as long as it doesn't conflict with my current Friday Night lineup.

Set the receiver and the recorder to get this while I'm at work, I'd watch it now but I missed the series premiere and I don't want to jump in 1 episode late. Kind of surprised that it seems to be based on Bay's universe and not a more canon one.

I really like it so far. I hope the rest of the series is as good as this 5 part mini series was.

I hope the 5 part mini series is released on Bluray since I would like to watch it again but in HD this time, hopefully before the series starts again in February 2011.

They didn't do but one run, I would imagine. I got the releases in the mid-2010's when they were being cleared out or put on sale with the Bay films being released, because nobody had bought them when initially released. It certainly didn't help that the whole thing ended up on Netflix, when they went BIG in the mid-2010's, and that was a significant factor in reducing the demand/stock of media.
