Panasonic 1.43 Firmware Upgrade Breaks Netflix Streaming - Blu-ray Forum

I loaded the firmware update and I am also unable to stream through Netflix. AVOID THE FIRMWARE UPDATE until the issue is resolved. Furthermore my access to Viera Cast now seems sluggish and lethargic while navigating from screen to screen, anyone else having this issue?

Yes I also did it and got the same screen as above. Very poor customer service from
Panasonic

I saw the update listed as being available when I turned on the player last night. I'm very happy I checked here before just installing it. Thanks for posting this!

Vudu HDX streaming is awesome, not sure if you can get it outside the US.

As far as it being "poor" customer service, I'll disagree. I've owned 3 gen's of Panny players, and stuff like this generally never happens. They are always good about getting FW out before troublesome movies hit, and they are fast about correcting issues like this. Not too many BR manufacturers out there can say as much. Isn't that right Samsung?

DMP-BD85 also disabled by firmware 1.43 update.

Are you certain about the firmware affecting all of the listed players? I checked the Support page on the Panasonic website and it seems that the 1.43 firmware (released Nov. 22) affects the following players: DMP-BD65P/PC/PX, DMP-BD655P and DMP-BD85P/PC. Firmware v1.22 was released on the same day, but this affects the following models: DMP-BDT100P/PC, DMP-BDT105P. The following models (DMP-BDT300PP, DMP-BDT350PP) are affected by the v1.73 firmware.

I know for a fact the 300/350's are working just fine after the Vudu update.

New Firmware update is available. Netflix has been repaired, Twitter & Vodu are Apps that are available...

Panasonic released firmware version 1.51 and I downloaded it to the Panasonic DMP-BD65 and everything appears to work fine.
