Default Yamaha RX-V663BL cursed

I Purchased it a couple years ago and all it has given is a headache Left front channel stopped working 7 months ago.
When I plug in left channel works for short time then stops so I took it in for Bestbuy service.
It came back from service they said left channel connector solder broke so they re-soldered it was good to go.
Got receiver home and left channel still didn't work so I put it in storage for a few months.

A couple weeks ago I figured why not try again so I took it back to Bestbuy.
Rep just gave me call said all was fine with it they re-soldered all speaker connectors for good measure.

I know its not my speakers...Ive tested bad channel on all of my speakers so speaker failure is ruled out.
What the heck should I do?
Bestbuy has no clue what the heck their doing I'm just about over it getting ready to snap on them

You just have a melon unfortunately. Your option is to buy a new receiver.

Try contacting Yamaha directly. See what they are willing to do - up here in Canada they have a good reputation. Hopefully they will be willing to keep you as a satisfied customer and work with repairs or a replacement. Worth a shot.

Thanks for the advice guys.
Well I picked up receiver last night hooked it up finding Left channel works....having same outcome this mourning so maybe true fix was made.
I'm thinking first solder job done by them on left output was bad which is why they re-soldered all outputs this time covering their tracks.
Anyway hopefully it stays working for a couple years sound is amazing on it.

Left channel went out again but this time I figured what made it happen.
I touched front of receiver felt a slight static vibration which got my attention needless to say.
I checked left front speaker finding that no sound was had.
I then turned off receiver un-plugged waited a couple min plugged back in turned it on using remote and left front channel started working again.
Ive tested 3 times getting same results.

Now I must take it back to Bestbuy for the 3rd time so they can fix it right.
I'm temped to demand a new receiver because of this run around they've put me through.

Bestbuy kept 663 and gave me 524.00 gift card.
I picked up a Pioneer-770W 7.1-Ch-VSX-1020-K on sale for 389.00 and a new Blu-ray player
