Default Zapcurve's HT

Welcome to my corner of the world, and that’s where you’ll fine my HT setup, in the corner of the living room, it was very hard to find a a/v rack that I liked to fit in the corner. I had to replace my original Init a/v rack because the shelf was glass and wouldn’t hold the weight of the new Onkyo PR-SC5507 and the Emotiva XPA-5. I finally decided on a VTI modular a/v rack and added a forth shelf to it.

I just replaced my 42” Sylvania with a Panasonic TC-P58S2 58” plasma HDTV on Black Friday, not 3D or top of the line but it has a heck of a picture right out of the box!

As far as my 2011 goals go I would like to add a SVS subwoofer, and although I hear some of you snickering about my Bose speakers, I’ve got to say I know that there are better brands of speakers but these little 501 series V speakers can rock.

Welcome to the HT Gallery Forum Zapcurve.

You have a very inviting system and to my knowledge, as long as I've been a member of the site, I do not recall anyone snickering, criticizing or bashing anyone's choice in equipment, be it Bose or any other manufacturer.

This section is of bluray.com is a celebration of the hobby and genre. So, I say again, welcome to the Home Theater Gallery Forum and thank you for sharing your system with us.

Regards,

Nicely said Lawrence. Beautiful TV ($1177 now at Amazon, so if that's what you paid, nicely done!!), very good looking AV Rack, & if YOU enjoy the Sound of your Bose system, that's all that matters. Welcome to the site.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I actually got the TV a little cheaper than that so I was really stoked about it. What's nice is the wife's enjoying also.

That's a nice system you've got happening there and you can never go wrong with a Panny Plasma.

Like the boys said, you won't hear any snickering or bickering or whatever in these galleries about what people own. You are about to meet some of the most helpful, encouraging and supporting people on the web here.

Default NEW AXIOM M80v3 SPEAKERS

Hi All,
I just wanted to share with everyone my latest purchase, yesterday I pulled the trigger on a pair of Axiom M80v3's to replace my Bose 501 series v speakers, I can hardly wait to get my hands on these speakers after reading some great reviews on them. I also purchased Calabrine cable to go with them.
My next purchase in 2 months will be the Axiom VP180 center channel and the 4-5 months down the road I'll get Axiom QS8's surrounds.

Keep Rockin' People, Zapcurve

Default Relocating my a/v rack & wall mounting the Panny

I'm totally loving my new Axiom speakers, theres one exception to this and it has to do with the size of the VP180 center channel the thing is a beast and takes up a good portion of the front of my a/v rack, so I've decided on relocating my a/v rack from the corner where it currently is to the center of the wall. I'm going to wall mount the Panny and the use the top shelf of the a/v rack for the VP180. Since I have to disassemble my a/v rack for the move (its modular) I told the wife while everything was apart we would go ahead a buy new carpeting for the living room and dinette area, it really doesn't take much to make a wife happy.
