Default Which Fifth Element Blu to pick up?

Regular or BD Essentials version? Any difference in the two?

As long as it has the shiny artwork it doesn't matter. That's the remastered version.

1st release - Crappy version released during Blu-ray launch.
2nd Release - remastered/ has shiny artwork
Essentials - Is the 2nd release with slipcover.

I'd buy the essentials version just to make sure someone doesn't give you the first release, though they might be long gone by now for all I know.

I have the original crappy AND re-release. No Essentials, but it's the same thing! I honestly see a very minimal difference between the original, but it's always nice to have the re-release, so go with that one!

Remastered version also has disc art whereas the first release just says the title.

Yep, the release date matches what Amazon has for the remastered version.

Do you like the slipcover? If so, that's your answer.... it's most likely cheaper anyway.

The very first release is damn near extinct even in the used market, I have yet to see one in person. If in doubt, look for the TrueHD logo.

You got to be kidding us? There is quite a noticeable difference between the two... You may need a bigger screen my friend

I know I'm in the minority, but I posted some screenshots not too long ago in the screenshot thread. You can notice what people say you should notice. I'll leave it at that
