United Kingdom Predators Trilogy - Which Version of Predator?

I was going to ask this for Christmas, but wanted to check which version of Predator is included?

Is it the Original Release or the Ultimate Hunter Edition?

It's sadly the Ultimate Hunter Edition, which is why I haven't bought it.

Thanks for the Reply. It was actually the Hunter edition I was after, so it looks like I know what to ask for Christmas now.

The Ultimate Hunter Edition should have been renamed "The Ultimate DNR Edition". They erased all the grain, so their is barely any details left. Just search for the review here at this site, and you`ll see. I am glad i found out that they did, so i then i bought the original BD release which has all the grain and details.

Hey, guess what? Not everyone has the same blu-ray discs as you or even the same films on blu-ray as you. Get over it.

LMAO. I have the newer edition, purely for the special features, but I agree the picture quality is awful, everything is so shiny and glossy, all the detail from the original release was completely removed!

I love the new edition!

If people want to see grain just put a screen door in front of your high def TV and enjoy!

The troll link was funny but what is the difference between the negative statements that are made about The Ultimate Hunter Edition and my comments about the original version? I am sorry if I have an opinion that is different than yours. If I am a troll everyone else is as well...

There's such a thing as tact.

That wasn't a comment, as you put it, it was a threadcrap.
You could have stated your opinion without it being blatant flamebait.

I could easily say that if you want to know how the Ultimate Hunter edition looks, is to take the original Predator disc. Then get some vaseline and smear it over both eyes, or your TV,(or both), and there ya go...

But I didn't, cause it's wrong. Wrong and silly.

See how it works?

"There's such a thing as tact."

Which you so graciously demonstrated by making a public reply instead of a private PM. Very nice example!!!
