Its my friends birthday so he invited my wife and I out with him and his friends.

They have the upper VIP are at a big club in LA reserved for all of us.

Wristband for unlimited drinks too.

Should be a blast

same thing i do every year....celebrate my b-day.

we usually have my parents, brothers, in-laws, and some buddies over for cake & ice cream and drinks.

I figure out my New Year's Eve plans at about 8:00 PM on New Year's Eve. I rarely plan things in advance. I'm sure I'll end up at some overcrowded bar where I'll have a terrible time like most years.

i am staying home, to avoid the 'rookie drinkers' who cause accidents on new years eve.

We usually have a little party in the basement (kid friendly) with Mario Kart and other Wii Games...till 10pm MT and then watch the ball drop in NY.

It's always a fun time. Looking forward to what my wife makes for finger foods that night!

For those holding house parties, here's something fun for everyone that my dad does at his party:

get a bunch of balloons

randomly put a few bills into some of them

everyone pops a balloon at midnight and some people get a nice little prize

Stay home and watch the Wings game with family and then movies till midnight or go downtown to see the lights......nothing fancy.
