Default What're The Best DMR Rewards?

I'm sitting on a bunch of points...may let them keep adding up. But I was curious about what other people redeem their points for. That WALL-E replica looks cool...

I only get stuff that I like, and I cannot easily find in a store. I just ordered the Beauty and the Beast box for 925 points. I wanted one of the Paige O' Hara paintings until I saw that you can buy it for $99 minus shipping. I do not buy Disney titles that often so I do not have many points. I say do not spend your points on DVD's or blu rays that you can easily find in a store. Unless it's the WOW disc which is way too overpriced imo.

I would get movies and/or that Sony player they're offering. Used my points so far to get the movies Chronicles of Narnia and Glory Road.

Indeed... I flipped out last night when they had problems delivering it and were going to ship it back to disney. I bet the customer service people thought I was nuts. There was NO way I was letting that player get shipped back!

The Mulan figurine looks pretty cool, mind you I'll have to save up quite a bit more points.

Yes they are. They are from the Walt Disney Classics Collection and they aren't cheap. I got the Lilo figurine to match the Stitch figurine I got for Christmas one year. They Lilo used to retail for $150. I just recently got another of Donald Duck from DMR too. All the figurines are very nice.

I got a figurine of the badguy from monsters Inc, russell I believe. When I accumulate more points I'll get another. I agree that getting a movie is pretty stupid!

Moreso than a figurine that will sit on a shelf?

If you are using that frame of mind then isn't it all pretty useless? Figurines only purpose is to sit on a shelf. A film on the other hAnd is meant to be watched and the shelf is it's temporary holding spot.

My logic was more along the lines of the movies they offer are easily attainable for the most part but the figurines are not and have more value.

I don't know about you but I watch all of my films they aren't there to be admired upon.

Not to mention also, I have purchased all of the Blu-ray Disney movies they have for rewards anyway and will always buy them when they come out. I am not going to wait and see if maybe they will show up on the DMR site. Besides, I can sell the figurines on ebay and make much more money then selling a Blu-ray.

My point, which you missed, was that getting a free movie is no more stupid than a piece of porcelain.

I've only ordered 2 things. Chronicles of Narnia and WOW from them. I have about 2300 pts now...no rush to spend them. Maybe I'll get the sequel to Narnia if it ever gets to the reward section...
