Default Bonnie and Clyde: No HD DVD disc, 2 Blu-ray Discs

http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...D_DVD_Art/1241

Look closely. The disc paired with the HD DVD box is a blu-ray disc, its not an hd dvd disc. The disc paired with the blu-ray box is a blu-ray disc too. I'm not going into any type of rumors here, just very, very, very intresting that there is no hd dvd disc with the hd dvd box and instead they put a blu-ray disc in its place.

these are the types of accidental slip ups that happen before a policy change.

I like to be as optimistic as anyone, but I think it's only fooling yourself by reading anything into this. More than likely, it's the same picture, and somebody at WB (or whoever) photoshopped the BD and HD logos at the top of that book, and just forgot to change the logo on the disc.

r u kidding me! i have photographic evidence that wb is going blu-ray exclusive and nobody cares i kid, i kid, if anybody thinks i am being serious, there is a bit of seriousnes in this though, i mean if they are planning on going blu-ray exclusive it would make sense that we don't ever see an hd dvd copy of bonnie an clyde, which to date all we've seen is a blu-ray copy and 2 at that.

i don't know if you are being serious or not. but hd dvds and blu-ray retail for the same price, but if an hd dvd is a combo disc it usually is higher than a blu-ray.

Looks like it was photoshopped together that way. The photos are identical. They just changed the Blu-ray logo at the top of the cover and forgot to change the logo on the disc. I wouldn't read anything into it.

I wouldn't read anything into it either. It looks rendered, so the people putting together the ad went to grab art assets for the HD-DVD version but all they could find was the blu-ray art, said "Oh yeah, there's not going to an HD-DVD version, lol" so they went to play with Photoshop.

Oops, I just did read something into it. heh.

Darn, spoiler tags don't seem to work here. I was gonna have some fun.

its not rendered, look at the side of the case at the very top, two different symbols, i can't make out what they are, but they are clearly different. surely if this was photoshoped, if somebody took the time to change the symbols on the side, they would have changed the blu-ray logo in the middle of the disc.

Sure... it's still a mistake!

It appears there will still be a "Bonnie And Clyde" HD DVD release... it's just that no one will buy it...
