El Cunado: Pffff Nine. But none of them died from head trauma, all of them died from massive spine trauma.

I also love the idea of a Dominance league where the winner gets to punch the loser in the face as hard as he can.

The ratings where pretty terrible for this season, but god I really hope we get a third season.
Haha, that was so funny. Excellent last two episodes and an extremely funny season. I thought that the ratings were up big time from last season? Averaged a 0.6 in 18-49 all season. Wasn't it like 0.3 last year? Could be wrong though I forget

Well I think both seasons averaged just barely than 1 million viewers so It's really hard to judge. If FX is happy with it than we will get another season, but I never hear them speak about it, though I never hear anything about It's Always Sunny either and that's been around for many years now.

True true. I am betting it will be back. Over a million viewers is really good considering 11oclock is supposed to be when no one watches comedy and its going up against the mentalist and private practice.

It's on at 11 for you? Holy shit, I have It's Always Sunny at 7 and the League at 7:30, that's how it's always been, everything on FX starts at 7 for me.

Haha, wow your lucky man! Yeah I am in Canada. It sucked this summer with Mad Men not finishing until midnight and I had to get up for work at 630am. Mondays were brutal. Same with when Lost aired at 11 rough times lol

If it's on cable, I get it no later than 7pm. I believe Mad Men airs at 6pm for me. I'm on the West Coast, but I get everything on cable on east coast time, all network tv airs in the typical 8-11 spot for me though.

When he first showed up, I thought he was a total moron, but I really grew to love him over his last few appearances. He's such a dick!

The last 2 episodes of the season were FANTASTIC. I especially enjoyed the daughter running her mouth as she was walking out of the room and Ruxin's milk and chicken stink bomb

That was so awesome that Pete gave the teacher Jenny's rant video, hahahaha. Damn that broad is harsh! But damn is she cute! I have never thought to prank my buddies with gifts that heinous but I have been inspired. Now that the season is complete I feel like watching both seasons again. I hope season two comes out uncut and extended like the first season did.

Awesome! I was sure with the low ratings it would be canceled, but after that killer finale I was holding out hope it would return. Thank you FX!

The League Will Tackle a Third Season
Quote:
This ain’t no fantasy — FX has picked up The League for a third season.

The new cycle of 13 episodes will start production in the summer, with an eye on a fall 2011 premiere.

“[We] are fired up to continue our partnership with [series creators] Jackie and Jeff Schaffer and the ensemble cast,” FX programming EVP Nick Grad said in announcing the pick-up. “We love the show, and the reaction the cast received across the country during their recent comedy tour is a sign the show is really building momentum.”

The married Schaffers in turn hailed FX as “the parents we wish we had growing up — every time we say something naughty they reward us.”

Season 2 of The League averaged 1.4 million total viewers a week, with each episode amassing a full 2 million viewers across multiple airings.

FX treats their comedies different than dramas. Sunny averaged what, .2 it's first three years?

Oh wow, didn't know their ratings where so low in the early days. Real happy they see the potential growth and are keeping it around. This show is just nuts!
