Univesal Studios Home Entertainment has announced two catalog titles for Blu-ray release on January 25, 2011: the award-winning A Beautiful Mind (Ron Howard, 2001) and the indie favorite Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Michel Gondry, 2004). Both will be presented in non-flipper BD50 discs.

I expect A Beautiful Mind to be reference because it's Ron Howard, not sure whether ESotSM will be reference or not, Universal's catalog transfers are hit and miss.

I already own the Alliance release of Eternal Sunshine (which looks great btw) but I'll definitely be picking up A Beautiful Mind.

I rented the two disc special edition of this and I watched many of the special features and I loved the clips from the Academy Awards on the DVD, I really hope they make it to the Blu-ray, I HATE when the Blu-ray has less features than the DVD... If not it's probably due to rights. I am really looking forward to this!!!!!!!!

January is becoming an expensive month - Beautiful Mind, Social Network, and Machetem oh my!

I was very surprised with a Beautiful Mind. I thought Russell Crowe was much better in this than he was in Gladiator.

Those are my EXACT thoughts on this blu ray. i reall hope they include those awards features!

Josh Lucas' performance in this was powerful and rarely gets mentioned when people talk about this movie.

I honestly didn't think much of A Beautiful Mind. However, I LOVED Eternal Sunshine, and will certainly grab that one.
