I'm looking to author a number of shorts ive made to be displayed in a kiosk where people can play them, however i dont want people to exit to the desktop with a software player or to the settings menu of a normal BD player. Does anyone know of a hardware or (preferably) software solution that can be locked?

Have you tried using "Group Policy"...Link
I used Bing with the search term "kiosk mode in group policy", not for the faint of heart but is doable. You might find a pre-written script out there some where, it depends on how much time and effort you want to put into achieving your goal. There is definately a learning curve involved when implementing a machine wide group policy, or, just buy an application that will do it for you and provide "exit" keys to return the machine to normal. ![]() |

thanks for the tip but that article references intranet's, not blu-ray discs. Is there no way to do this with blu-ray soft-players, or can this method be applied to any program?
