Splendid is releasing The Master on March 25, 2011. And it's claimed on their site that the film has been remastered; "Mit neu bearbeitetem Ton und Bild". According to Splendid:

English subs? Not going to get my hopes up because of the Once Upon A Time In China releases but stranger things have happened. I have been waiting for all of these to get quality English friendly releases

The menu is in English, that's it. German is my second language, so if I can get it cheap, I'll consider getting it.

Speaking of which, are there any review links to the ONCE UPON A TIME IN CHINA german blu-ray releases? It would be interesting to see them compared to the Fortune Star releases to see if they are any better PQ wise...

The Once Upon a Time in China trilogy doesn't come out for another two months. However, Once Upon a Time in China & America came out a few years back and I heard the quality is atrocious for the Blu-ray format. However, I am planning on picking it up soon to replace my Tai Seng DVD with the out of sync subtitles.
