Default Help me buy a new TV ($550 or less)

I am looking to buy a new TV so I'd appreciate your guys' help. Here are my preferences:

- $550 or less
- 42" or 40" (don't wanna go bigger due to size constraints)
- 1080p
- No real preference over LCD or Plasma
- Top quality brand (Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp, LG, etc)
- Not a fan of 120hz but I'll consider it; I am a fan of 24p, however

Here are some TV's I was considering:

http://www.amazon.com/LG-42PJ350-42-...431325&sr=1-17

http://www.amazon.com/LG-42LD450-42-...&s=electronics

http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-40G300...&s=electronics

I'm really fond of the Toshiba but I don't know much about their TV's. I am also fond of the 2nd LG I listed there. I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

I'd prefer not to buy in store because of the higher prices and taxes. I'll be buying it through Amazon if everything goes as planned.

The problem I have with LG is the slight delay between remote button push and TV acknowledgment.
