Stand By Me up for "notification" - Blu-ray Forum

There's a thread in the US forums showing that Amazon.com has this up for pre-order (22nd March 2011).

A search in the UK on Amazon and Play shows that they simply have the "notify me when available" option.

Hopefully, the title will be out sometime in 2011.

The US Amazon now quotes a date of 22nd March.

Let's hope that Amazon UK confirms a date soon.

I cleared out a huge amount of DVDs the other day.. this was one of the only titles I kept, it would be great to finally get it on Blu!

To my mind one of the best of the Stephen King adaptions with Misery, The Mist and The Shawshank Redemption. I think I'd only pick this up if it was really cheap though.

US version has been confirmed by Movietyme and AxelMusic as region free. Tempting, seeing as nothing has been announced yet regarding a UK release.
