i ordered The Green Mile and Shawshank Redemption from deepdiscount.com in late late august or something. It was the buy one get one free deal($28 shipped for both) Every 30 days I get an email from them saying they still could not get these titles in from the vendor and hoping to get them in stock in 20 day, also asking me to cancel the order If I like Has anyone ordered above titles and recieved them from deepdiscount.com?

the price is pretty good and I am not in rush to get these however its taking forever, I guess this price was so low and they dont want to honor it. Is there anything I can do other than canceling this order?

PS: my card has not been charged yet.

DD backorders have been known to take a long time. They were also recently purchased by some company that's supposed to whip them back into shape. You could wait it out, but it might be a while.

This is interesting, it is listed on fye.com and several other sites as a 20th anny. digibook edition. No one on here seems to own it though.

Well, I finally had it happen. And not to one, but three of them. I did not notice till I was getting ready to put one on, and then I checked through all of my digibooks. The plastic disc tray in my Batman, Dr. Strangelove and the tray on the back side of Amadeus are starting to slide out of position. The Amadeus one is so bad, the book will not even sit flat anymore.

I have a bunch of digibooks. Hope this doesn't start happening to all of them.

I'll post a picture later of the Amadeus digibook.
