Live Free Or Die Hard + BD-P1400? - Blu-ray Forum

OK Guys,

My 1400 has played everything up to Die Hard 4.
Last night I have it a go, trying to watch 4.
First step: Update latest firmware (over network). Check
Second Step: Load Die Hard 4. Infinite hourglass/busy message.

So, after some reading the forums here it seems some actually have been able to playback this title on the 1400. The latest fw is 1.2 I think.

Please report your success with this (or any of the die hard movies) title, your 1400 firmware version, your update method.

Here is a template.
Samsung BD-P1400
Title: Die Hard 4
Firmware: 1.2
Update Method: Network/Disc
Playback: Success/No Playback

Updated using firmware download and burn to cd. Plays Die Hard 4 fine.

I'm going to try that method tonight.
It would be weird if the network update does not work but the CD-R does.
