Anyone here dealt with HMV.JP? Do they ship via DHL?
**EDIT** Just discovered HMV use EMS and not those greedy Inglourious Basterds DHL. Canceled with Amazon, ordered with HMV. Last edited by Blu-Boy in BKK; 01-07-2011 at 11:50 AM. |

So basically what your saying feilong is that only the amount pre ordered will be made? up to a maximum of 5000 so if they dont sell 5000 this could be very limited then because they may only have 2000-3000 pre orders could be interesting.
and also that would mean you will only get this steelbook of you have pre ordered it ![]() |

normally, japanese studios set a deadline for their limited edition, say, x weeks after the official release date. Or 2 weeks before the next lower-price edition come out. We don't know. Just all in a sudden, they are no longer available from most vendors because many vendors avoid keeping too much stock. If the supply from a studio stop, then they are unable to get stock for the current customer orders. Regardless how many items are sold, the rest will be discarded after deadline. Imo this isn't a terrible movie, it works quite well with a little Mission Impossible in it as well as some romance. Previously they were in the well made but dark "Vanilla Sky" so they have chemistry in "Knight And Day" and they work well together. I give it an 8/10. I really enjoyed it but I don't need a Steelbook for it happy with the amaray Blu-ray edition. A sequel could have been made for this film but that will never happen I guess since it was considered a disappointment based on domestic box office results and poor reception. Overall it's a well made film and entertaining, but for some reason some people are turned off by it, I have no idea why.

It's officially "out of print" about 1 month after its intial release in japan. i won't go further but i think you should know what happens behind. and you should know why so many Japanse CDs/DVDs are floating around the Far East markets for quite a while even though they are "officially out of print" in japan. for a BD or DVD that limited to "5000 sets", it's not considered RARE.
