Ponyo [Gake no ue no Ponyo] (2008) - Blu-ray Forum

Ponyo will be released by Universum Film on March 18, 2011. It will most likely be Region B locked and no English subs. I'm interested in importing it since German is my second language. I was pleased with the French dubbing, since French is my third language, on the US Blu-ray. The girl who did the dubbing sounded just as sweet and innocent compared to the original Japanese version. It also seems the German studio was inspired by the Japanese Ghibli's Blu-rays as seeing by the cover below.

It's most likely that they sold out of their planned stock when they put the pre-order. It might come back in, it might not. They still have the DVD up, but I'm not into DVD.

) i would most probably double dip for this one, if it weren't for the the german-only subs.

I'm not buying off of Amazon Germany because the shipping is expensive as hell. They charge 15 Euro for shipping. Grooves, if you hit past a certain amount, like $27, shipping is free and the stuff gets to you within a week.

Try ebay then... I think shipping costs will be a bit more moderate there

I could, I'll check once the movie comes out in a few days. It comes out Friday. Most releases come out on Friday in Germany. However a while back it used to Mondays that the new stuff would come out.

Yeah, Casshern, I bought it for $19 off Grooves. If I bought Casshern off Amazon.De, it would have been $41. Not just "No!" BUT HELL NO!

Given it's specs have been listed and it's a German release, it won't contain English subs or dubbing given that it was released almost a year after the US release by Disney.
