Default Building Supercomputer Using Playstation 3

Here is an old article on turning everyone’s Playstation 3 into a Super computer to try and solve cures to diseases. Does anyone know if this program is available for download now? Some people would not want such a feature since it could be turned into spyware by a programmer.

How can it be turned into spyware?

I'm pretty sure it won't be open source and stuff...

If several other companies wanted to run similar programs. A programmer that works from one of the companies could have the software report on all movies and games you watch to get statistics.

I don't think Stanford Medical Doctors could care less about what you do.

And, so far, this hasn't happened with the PCs that are doing this.
