I was wondering if anyone knows for sure which version of NBK is out on Blu here. DC or Theatrical? I was going to order it as its a bargain at £5 at ASDA but wanted to check if it was uncut. Anyone know?

ASDA £5 Blu-rays

UK edition isn't censored but its the theatrical cut. US has the Theatrical Cut in a digibook or the Director's Cut in an Amaray with a booklet

I must remember to buy this. Woody and Juliet Lewis are two of the coolest people on this planet. For this reason alone NBK is a classic. Robert Downy Jr is just the icing on top.

I sold my sealed Digibook copy the other day but purchased the Amaray version for £1.99 used. I've just watched it for the first time, not knowing what to expect and I really enjoyed it. If I own the theatrical cut is it still worth me picking up the director's cut? I didn't think the PQ of the TC was too bad but the improvement from the DC would be welcome. Are there many significant differences between the two cuts?

Can anyone confirm for me if the UK 20th anniversary release of NBK contains one or two discs?.

There is guy on Amazon stating he received a single disc version that's missing the new doc and the theatrical cut of the film.

This completely contradicts the product description.

Number of discs: 2

Commentary By Director Oliver Stone
Natural Born Killers: Method In The Madness
NBK Evolution: How Would It All Go Down Now?
Chaos Rising: The Storm Around Natural Born Killers
Charlie Rose Show
The Desert: Introduction by Oliver Stone
The Courtroom: Introduction by Oliver Stone
The Drive-In: Introduction By Oliver Stone
Steve Wright: Introduction by Oliver Stone
The Hun Brothers: Introduction by Oliver Stone
Denis Leary: Introduction By Oliver Stone
Alternate Ending: Introduction By Oliver Stone

I was going to buy this, but if it's true this is a single disc only release i will get the US Diamond Luxe edition instead.

Any info would be much appreciated.

For some reason the UK is not getting the new 2 disk edition for now.
Zavvi have the UK exclusive on the Warner Diamond Luxe titles but they currently only have four up for pre order and those don't include NBK.

One only, just the DC. It doesn't have the new features either. UK royally screwed over.

Hi Mentasm,

Are you certain that the new extra is not on the UK DC disc? I only ask because it was indeed classified by the BBFC for the 20th Anniversary Edition:

http://bbfc.co.uk/releases/natural-b...-madness-video

Perhaps it was simply left off the back cover?

Another way to tell: If this UK DC disc has Dolby TrueHD, then it is the US 2009 disc. If there is indeed a DTS-HD MA track, then this UK DC disc should be the US 2014 disc.

I meant to update this some time ago but forgot what with Christmas etc. It would seem I was suffering from temporary blindness when I originally posted, as the new featurette is on the UK disc. I originally checked on my HTPC using MPC and I must have missed it when skipping through the .mt2s files... Apologies to anyone who was put off.

So, the UK hasn't been as royally screwed over as I first thought, but we don't get the second disc with the theatrical cut so it's still inferior to the US Diamond Luxe release. Sad that it didn't get a new transfer either - that's some seriously bad telecine wobble.

Does anyone know if this is available on Blu anywhere with the original music over the end montage just before the credits?

In the cinema and video release it was a Nine Inch Nails track called Burn but on the Bluray releases I've seen (the UK theatrical and the US DC) for some reason it's been replaced with African drum music.

It was my fave part of the film and it sucks that it's been replaced.

That fifteen second piece of music was your favourite part of the film?
