I was just going to say the same thing - Suprised Quantum of Solace is on here, but not Casino Royale, which was a better movie, albeit not as much action - most likely why CR didn't make it and QoS did...

I'm really surprised not to see The Matrix on the list. It's one of the greatest sci-fi and action movies ever and it had an awesome Blu-ray release. Maybe it's due to people split between the trilogy, the digibook and the regular case versions.

yeah..I think that is definitely a factor.

Do you guys think that every edition of a movie should be combined to represent an end total? Or is it fine the way it is?

I own 5/20, 4 of the top 5. I have watched all of the other top 20, but do not feel compelled to add them to my collection. It is just as easy to rent them from Netflix if I feel a need to rewatch any of them.

17 out of 20. Not bad.

It really doesn't surprise me at all, pretty much all of these movies have great PQ/AQ plus at least 13 of them at some point had been priced at $10 or lower.

Thanks man. I think we would all benefit from those Blu-rays. A couple on that list are confirmed (Arthur, Excalibur) and a few of the others are either available as imports or are rumored to be released but I doubt if most will see the light of day. Oh well, sometimes our reach must exceed our grasp.

Seven here (and four on DVD I've yet to upgrade). Considering I only truly started collecting Blu-rays less than two months ago, I believe I'm doing quite well.

LOL all being on that list means for a movie is a lot of people own it. Being popular doesn't make it a good movie and yes that is coming from someone who owns at least 14 of the movies on the list.

I only buy movies I personally enjoy and intend to rewatch... so I'm good with that. Honestly, though, I don't see a truly awful movie on the list.
