Because they still have them in stock?
You can still get a good chunk of the Paramount blu ray movies at most stores, only a few are rare so far though that will change in time.

They are just selling the stock they have left. Once stock runs out, they won't get more.

they went HDDVD only in august, before then they supported BD. Therefore there are still some Paramount movies (released before august) in stores that you can buy.

The Warriors is still in stock?! What?!!?! LOL... saw it for the first time on Blu, I can see why it's a cult classic. Cheesetacular... yet, somehow entertaining...

I bought some paramount blurays when they told the blu fans to go f**k themselves. I never opened them and returned them the next day. paramount / dreamworks haven't got a penny of my money since.

Funny thing is just that: Paramount and Universal are losing chunks of my money. I won't buy HD-DVD, and I sure as hell won't buy DVD when I know I'll eventually want the Blu Ray anyway. I just don't buy DVDs anymore unless it's a title that is unlikely to be released on blu or won't benefit from the added functionality of blu.

Don't remember who, one of the members here went through and ordered every single Paramount Blu-ray release when they switched.

Seeing as to where your located, it is tough to know your market. Here is the states though this title is still everyone. Best Best and Circuit City both have this still on the shelves. I know that this does not help you, but know there are still copies out there floating about.

What are Paramount titles? Anyone have a list of the ones I should be looking for in stores?

I'm brand new to BD (got my Playstation3 today, in fact) but have 22 titles so far and want to buy as much as I can if it can influence in any way the release of future videos. I certainly want to pick up any Paramount stuff before I can't find it in stores anymore.

I got the Untouchables after the switch, got it from Netflix and was shocked at the PQ, and also bought Shooter, once again PQ was great.

Other than that, nothing from me!

I know I purchased all 32 Paramount/Dreamworks titles on BLU-RAY when they switched. I own no Paramount/Dreamworks HD-DVD titles and have the entire BLU-RAY Paramount/Dreamworks collection. The Untouchables is the most hardest title to find out of all 32 titles. Once ans a while it can be found on Ebay for $39.99 plus $6.75 or more for shipping and handling.
I am sure there must have been other BLU-RAY supporters who bought all 32 titles. Others just purchased a few tittles they wanted to own.

Yeah, we'll be able to buy Paramount titles that are remaining stock from before they went red until next year when they go blu again
