Just got my copy of the Japanese DVD.
Subtitles are in the black space at the bottom of the frame which is great. The action is measured up to the end when it explodes on the screen. Takashi Kitano is superb in his roll. Will not give the plot away, but be ready to hit the back button occasionally to catch some of exactly what is going on, and to figure out who is shooting or blowing up who. Just gained a whole lot more respect for the Yakuza in Japan after watching this 103 minute film. |

I see that this film is released in both Japan and Hong Kong with english subs. Which release is the one to get, and where do I buy it. The japanese release costs 60$ (!!!!!) on yesasia.com. Thats damn expensive. Hong Kong-release is priced at 33$.
