Resident Evil 6 - Rumour?

Just noticed this link but I couldn't read it fully as I'm at work

Albert Wesker says Resident Evil 6 is in the works

It just basically says that RE6 is not confirmed by Capcom and the Voice Actor that played Wesker is hoping to return to his role in RE6. I thought he was great as Wesker though! My favorite Villain ever.

He kept making me laugh at the end when he kept saying 'Your only Postponing the inevitable'. It was just the way he says 'Postponing' it sounded really camp.

I hope they make 6 more survival horror than action like 5. Don't get me wrong, really enjoyed 5 but preferred the older games better.

I didn't say it wasn't but nothing is confirmed. It's all speculation at this point.

Really hoping it goes back to the original gameplay. Only played the demo for RE5 and didn't' enjoy it. Especially the whole bit of having to take care of a partner. And if it's' co-op, why wasn't there a 2 player option besides playing online?
Will have better hopes for RE6 to get me back into them games

There is both offline and online coop on RE5.

I wish that they keep coop but make it more transparent when playing alone. AI Sheva was annoying as hell.

All the greatest Villains have awesome shades. The Wesker in Afterlife was okay but not as good D.C. Douglas in RE5

I think I must like a lot of games other people dislike. Sure it sucked RE5 wasn't like the original games but I thought it still had the RE4 feel which was great. Not as scary as RE4 but it had it's moments. The co-op was great but once you play with an actual player,NPC Sheva is a real pain. Always healing you when you still can take some damage, never using the correct weapon etc. I loved the game though and played it at least 4 times. If they made it more like the DLC "Lost In Nightmares" then that would be awesome.

A lot of these issues didn't bother me much either. I was initially ticked at the demo because Chris can't run and shoot at the same time, but when playing the full game that was never as problematic as I feared. Otherwise, I was very happy with it overall.

Alot of people complain about the not being able to move while shooting. It was made that way to create tension but I think the next RE needs to look elsewhere to create better tension atmosphere. One fine example is Dead Space. They need to look at Dead Space and learn a few things or too because in my book Dead Space beats RE hands down.

The Dead Space franchise has become everything about survival horror that RE started and now entirely fails at.

Here's to hoping the next RE is actually SH and actually scary.

And yeah like other people said, there is no doubt that a sequel is coming for this franchise. It's just too profitable. The only question is whether or not it will actually be good.
