I don't think it's a buy for me either. I dig the movie but what bugged me were the the hallucinations. They were totally necessary since that's what happened but they created some dramatic shifts in tone and made it harder to connect with James Franco's character. It reminded me of how weird Sunshine got in the last 20-30 minutes: not bad just strange and a bit off-putting.

The actual amputation scene was really intense. It wasn't very graphic but the acting and sound effects are really effective at getting us to feel what he's going through.

Whatever information taken from DVDWorldUsa always leads to confusion and mislead. From the start I always knew March 15th was going to be an inaccurate date.

Is this movie worth re-watching or is it just one of those one time movies? I heard alot of good stuff about it but idk, James Franco is one of my favorite actors. From the trailer it looks like a great movie.

This is one of my favorite films of the year. Second only to The Social Network. Really fantastic stuff. In a world where dark and bleak cinema reigns supreme, 127 Hours feels like a breath of fresh air.

It is so difficult to make a optimistic, life-affirming film without being overly-sentimental and cheesy. 127 Hours did just that.

Cant wait to see what special features it has!

Just saw this and it is fantastic! Franco gives a great performance. Definitely worth watching and owning. I was actually cheering for him to get out and I knew the ending.
